A native of Redlands, California, Jingfu Peng began his pianistic studies at the age of six. Since then, he has garnered top honors in various competitions, including first prizes at the Thirteenth International Russian Music Competition, the Southwestern Youth Music Festival Young Pianist Audition, and the 58th Redlands Bowl Annual Young Artists Audition. Jingfu has also participated in the masterclasses of myriad distinguished soloists and pedagogues, such as Eteri Andjaparidze, Pawel Nersessian, John Perry, Natalia Trull, Edward Wolanin, and Dina Yoffe.

Jingfu spent his formative years studying piano with Judith Johansen and Roza Yoder, and violin with Mark Braunstein. He graduated in 2019 from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Sergei Babayan.

Jingfu began teaching piano both in-person and online with the Aurora School of Music in 2020, and continues to offer piano lessons to students of all ages and interests. He currently resides in Southern California.

How do I set up a trial lesson?

To set up a trial lesson, send me a message via the form provided by the “Contact” link. I will reach back out to you to coordinate the necessary scheduling. Trial lessons are free of charge; students of all ages, levels, and interests are welcome.

Are lessons online or in-person?

In-person availability is now available for the Redlands area! Online lessons remain available as well. Please note that it is studio policy for minors to be accompanied by an adult.
